Matthew 4:23 “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”

Jesus healed “every disease and sickness among the people.” There is not a single account in the Bible of Jesus not healing someone that came to Him. Not one! We continue to read in verse 24 “News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.” Just think about that for a moment. Think about the impact that would have had to each city Jesus went to. All they had to do was come to Him and ask for it. Yet there were many that remained sick and broken. There were many that never went to Him. There were many that didn’t believe.

If Jesus healed everyone that came to Him, why is it so hard for me to believe that He will heal people today? Why do I doubt? Why do I not bring every ache and pain to Him? “Oh, that’s not severe enough.” “I can manage.” “It only hurts when I laugh.” “It’s just part of getting old.” Or whatever other excuse I make up. Jesus healed every disease. There were none too big and none too small for Jesus. And there still isn’t. He still heals today. Do you believe that Jesus will heal everyone that comes to Him? Is He the same yesterday, today, and forever? I want to live with that kind of faith. I want to pray with that kind of heart. Lord, I believe, but help thou my unbelief (Mark 9:24).
