Exodus 3:10 “So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
When God calls us, He sends us out. God’s calling is one of action. God did not come down and rescue us to leave us where He found us. He saves us, changes us, and sends us out to change the world. The Great Commission calls us in the same fashion. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19.
It’s interesting that God doesn’t say to Moses, “So pray about helping me, talk it over with your wife Zipporah, and maybe wait until it is convenient with your Father-in-law, then you can go.” God says, “So now, go.” That’s it! “I’ve called you, so go!”
God has a plan and purpose for each one of us. He has gifted each one of us uniquely to fulfill the mission He has for us. He doesn’t call me to do your mission and He doesn’t call you to do mine. He didn’t give us talents to hide and bury. We are to invest are talents in building others up. Your gifts are given to you for other people, not for yourself.
So now, go! Go and make … Go and be … Go and do … While we yet have breath in our lungs, go!
