23 Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

Paul ends his letter to the Ephesians by sending them off with some very precious gifts, peace, love with faith, and grace.

Peace, eirene in the Greek, meaning the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is. Take a deep breath and let that eirene from God fill you from head to toe. Oh, how often I forfeit that peace by turning my attention to the waves of turmoil that the world sends my way. I need to remind myself daily to look to Jesus and let Him stabilize my heart and mind.

Next, we have love with faith. This is the agape love we have to one another, our brothers and sisters in Christ. Coupled with that brotherly love is faith. Which is a trust or confidence what is true, a faithfulness. A faithful love, a trusting love given from God. He is faithful even when we are faithless and our love should be filled with trusting in His faithfulness.

Finally, we are left with grace. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying, incorruptible love. How I would love to be known for having an undying, incorruptible love for Jesus! That is my hearts cry today. Lord, give me an undying, incorruptible, unwavering, all encompassing love for you!

Yes Lord! I ask you to help me beat down my flesh that gets in the way of what you have already given me in Christ. Thank you for that peace, love and grace. Help me to walk in a deeper level as I continue to grow each day when I meet with you in fellowship. Thank you for that hunger to want more of you and realize who I am in Christ. Help me to let go of things I clutch tightly to. Give me that awakening and truth penetrating through the lies I have believed. Thank you father for this now. In Jesus name amen!
