7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.

Your sins have been forgiven. You have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus. Do you know that? Has that truth gotten from your head to your heart? Do you really believe it and understand it or are you living like you still need to earn God’s forgiveness?

When it comes to the things of God, we bring nothing to the table, we add nothing to the equation. God lavishes His grace upon us. He bestows favor and blessings upon us that we could never deserve and never earn. His abundant love is more than enough to rescue you from any trial or temptation that you are facing. Do you believe it? Can you receive it?

Take a second and let this verse sink in. Let it cover over the regrets you hold onto. Let it sooth the striving in your heart. Let it bring you comfort and security that you’ve been seeking. In Christ, it has all been taken care of. You can trust in this!

Prov. 12:25 Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down , but a good word makes him glad. ( sometimes the “old man” tries to creep in and remind me of past sins, and trigger old thought patterns making me focus on unforgiveness of myself, but scriptures like these is the weaponry I need to combat and renew my mind so that I can believe his word and have it hid in my heart so that I may not sin against my Lord. My Father God does not want me to have anxiety in my heart whether dealing with work, children, 1st mission, performance ..but to be soaked and lavished where not one ounce of me has not been touched and healed. Wow! Praise God for this to meditate …A GOOD WORD.
God help me now to take this good word into my heart and know you have already lavished me with your grace. Covered in your sons blood shed for my healing in every area of my life. Help me to truly believe it when those thoughts of doubt come in . I throw up the shield of faith and speak your word of life to those gain saying thoughts. In Jesus name Amen
